2020 Pokémon TCG League Cup Information
Pokémon TCG League Cup tournaments give players an opportunity to earn Championship Points and practice their skills for larger competitions.
Remember, while we frequently update our events schedule, we recommend that you contact the local Tournament Organizer to confirm event schedule information.
2020 Pokémon TCG League Cup Information
League Cup Best Finish Limit Seasons are based on Pokémon TCG expansion tournament legality dates, with additional accommodations made for the end of the tournament season.
Season 1: July 8, 2019 through November 14, 2019
Season 2: November 15, 2019, through February 13, 2020
Season 3: February 14, 2020 through May 15, 2020
Season 4: May 16, 2020 through June 22, 2020
Event requirements
The Pokémon TCG League Cup events do not require an invitation or qualification. All players who have Trainer Club accounts and are in good standing with the Play! Pokémon rules are welcome to participate. Players need to bring their own 60-card deck. League Cup may use either the Standard format or the Expanded format, at the discretion of the Tournament Organizer.
Time
Player registration will be ONLINE ONLY and will close at 11:30am.
Online decklists must be submitted by 11:45.
Tournament will begin at 12pm.
Entry Fees
Juniors – (Born in 2009 or later) – $20.00 - includes 3 packs at registration
Seniors – (Born in 2005 to 2008) - $20.00 - includes 3 packs at registration
Masters – (Born in 2004 and earlier) - $20.00 - includes 3 packs at registration
Tournament Structure
Best of 1, 30 minute Swiss. Best of 3, 50 minute top cut rounds.
Deck List Submission
Every player must submit copy of their decklist PRIOR to close of registration via RK9 labs.

Championship Points and Prizes
Participants will receive 2 Play! Points just for playing. Championship points will also be awarded based on the allocation listed below. Point totals subject to change.

First-place finishers in each of three age divisions (Junior, Senior, and Masters) will also receive a League Cup playmat. In addition to the prizes listed above, Top Cut Events will also add 3 Standard legal booster pack per player into the prize pool. Prizes will be determined by number of players per age group.
Pokémon TCG Cups. At some events, like Regional Championships, Pokémon TCG Cups will take place. These events will have the same Championship Point awards as a League Cup, but will not distribute promo cards, playmats, or other prizes typically found at a League Cup.
Trading
While trading is fine, please note that buying from or selling cards to anyone except for our authorized dealer(s),
or soliciting to do so elsewhere, is strictly forbidden at this event. Failure to obey this rule may result in both
the buyer and the seller being removed from the event, and banned from attending future events.
Top Cut Comics also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock. We need to be considerate of all those around us.
